TOP DRAWER: Dale McKie

In this Top Drawer, Jennifer Fontaine brought along Lauren Stamper to keep our next guest on his quiz toes & of course, he blitzed the answers giving some sound advice; keep black a staple in your wardrobe; always wear boots over sneakers (ah we both had sneakers on whoops!).

Welcome to the super suave, chic, kind and talented Mr Dale McKie. Over these last three or so years, it’s been an honour to witness Dale in action. His primary role is style guru / creative partner to the uber stylish Guy Sebastian and it has been so fun, exciting and simply a pleasure to get to know one of the most compassionate, patient and dynamic operators that is Dale. Working with Guy has been about purpose, fun, and memorable moments around The Voice, his music projects, touring and appearances. In addition to that, Dale has also styled the beautiful Jules Sebastian as well as our fab four Human Nature for some projects when their longstanding stylist has been unable to step in. Even myself and our team have had the privilege of being styled by the man himself for content shoots. Frankly, it’s just so fortunate for all of us that Dale makes you feel like you’re the only person in the room and devotes positivity and energy to make everyone feel special. He is also so popular with our team at Sony Music, producers and of course our team members. To quote Dale, ‘adore’ is just what he is to us all. Dale hits the trenches making sure everyone is happy, and always with a kind and friendly disposition – he leaves all the attitude for the power of an outfit!

So, what does Dale keep in his top drawer you ask?… A lint roller & stapler of course! He operates digitally, which is no surprise given he’s across global fashion trends, and always scouting new talent to give a platform – we love that he will prioritize Australian talent!! And our big mutual love of TEA … winner !! We love you Dale – you are supremely valued with such a big heart and passion to deliver on every job … please watch and enjoy the incredible Dale McKie.
